Getting in

The lockbox is behind the deck, on the black fence behind the outdoor furniture. We'll send you the code in your check-in message. Please return the key and scramble the code when you head out.

Parking

Please park on the right-hand side of the driveway, close to the hedge. We park on the other side and it's reasonably tight.

Take care backing out. The hedge makes it hard to see, there are often kids on the street, and cars parked across the road have been hit more than once. Slow and steady is the way.

Bifold doors

The doors are three panels. The main door has a normal handle. Push it down and it opens like an ordinary front door, which is all you need for everyday comings and goings.

To open the doors fully, release the lock between the second and third panels and use the handle there to fold the panels back. Please use that same handle for opening and closing the full set. Pushing or pulling the whole set by the main door can damage it.

Heating and cooling

The Toshiba ducted system is controlled from the wall panel. Set your temperature (20 to 22°C is comfortable) and please keep the fan on Low. It's quietest that way and works best left to run steadily. Allow 15 to 20 minutes to feel the change.

Cooktop (Haier induction)

Please use the pans provided, as induction only works with magnetic cookware. Tap the power symbol, select a zone, and set the level with + / –. An H on the display means that zone is still hot. If the controls won't respond, hold the lock symbol to release the child lock.

Panasonic combi oven (microwave, air fryer, oven and grill)

Microwave: use as normal, no accessories needed.

Air fry: use the metal stand (cupboard above the cooktop) with the mesh tray on top (drawer below the Panasonic).

Oven and grill: use the metal tray (drawer below the Panasonic).

Please only use the stand, mesh, and tray with the air fry, oven, and grill functions, never on the microwave setting.

TV (Samsung The Frame)

The remote is on the bench below the TV. Press power once to wake it from Art Mode; when turned "off" it returns to displaying artwork. Streaming apps are on the home screen.

Food

Help yourself to the food and breakfast items provided. Please leave the jars, we sterilise and recycle.

Rubbish and recycling

Recycling goes in the bin at the back, general rubbish in the bin at the front. Let us know if you need a new bin bag (an extra one under the sink).

Quiet hours

10pm to 6am. The path lights come on when it's dark and switch off during quiet hours. If you'd like the timing changed, just text.

Checkout

Checkout is 10am

• Before you go, we'd appreciate it if you could:

• Pop the dishes in the dishwasher and start it

• Turn off the heat pump and lights

• Close and lock the bifold doors

• Return the key to the lockbox and scramble the code
